Our school vision is focused on Identity in Christ, Learning continually, and being Saved to serve (ILS).
Located on eight acres in Olivette Missouri on Olive Boulevard near Warson Road, our facilities include an early childhood building for 2yr olds through grade 2, elementary and middle school building for grades 3-8, a library, learning lab, STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math) room, outdoor garden, gymnasium, playgrounds and softball & soccer fields.

Our current total number of students enrolled is 155. The student body is made up of a diverse group of children from various backgrounds and cultures. 46% of our student body is Caucasian, 20% African American, 17% Asian, and 13% are 2 or more races.

The average classroom size is 13 children per room. With smaller sized classrooms, our teachers are able to focus on the educational and personal growth of each child.

Our students come to us from a variety of neighborhoods in the greater St. Louis area, representing 16 public schools and 27 zip codes.

Our student body is made up of varying denominations. Approximately 29% of the students are members of the sponsoring congregation, Immanuel Lutheran Church/Light of Christ, 13% from other area Lutheran churches, 43% are Christian, and 15% are unchurched.

Our staff works with children who have IEPs and children who need extra help on a personal level. Families have access to our Special Education consultant from the Lutheran Elementary Association for Special Education.
At Immanuel Lutheran School, our focus is to provide children with an education that prepares them for the future. Our students are always encouraged to embrace excellence.
Immanuel's Accreditation:
Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA) accredits Missouri’s non-public schools. MNSAA supports schools in their ongoing improvement process to adopt best educational practices as these schools strive to become schools of choice.
National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NLSA) encourages, assists, and recognizes schools that provide quality Christian education and engage in continuous improvement. The Evidence Based Accreditation (EBA) process allows for the fulfillment this mission effectively thereby providing a valuable service to Lutheran schools.
Immanuel's most recent re-accreditation was in Spring of 2024. The next re-accreditation review is scheduled for Spring of 2029.
