Preschool Program 

(2 - 5 year olds)

Immanuel’s preschool program seeks to help children develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Our team values each student as a child of God and helps them to thrive in a loving environment centered on exploration and purposeful play.  During a typical preschool day there are both structured and unstructured activities to allow children to build on an ever increasing knowledge-base and practice individual decision-making skills.

 

 

Students: Children who are two years old on or before December 31 are eligible for enrollment in our jr preschool classroom. Child must be 2 on first day of attendance. We maintain a maximum 1:8 adult-child ratio in our preschool 2s classroom.

 

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Drop Off is 8:15 - 8:30 am and Pick Up is 3:30 - 3:45 pm)

Program Options: 5 days (Monday - Friday), 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), of 2 days (Tuesday and Thursday) per week.

Teacher: Mrs. Cheri Fitzgerald graduated from the University of Missouri, St. Louis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. She came to Immanuel in 2014.  She decided to fulfill her dream to become a teacher and is currently working on her Masters in Education. She is certified in Art K-12, Early Childhood, and Elementary Education.  She enjoys sharing her passion of the arts and art history to children of all ages. 

 

Cheri is married and has two boys that attend Immanuel.

Jr PRESCHOOL

Mrs. Laura Eggerman

Preschool

Students: Children who are three years old on or before July 31 and potty-trained are eligible for enrollment in our preschool classroom. In addition to our full-time teacher, a classroom aide is always present in our preschool classrooms. We maintain a maximum 1:10 adult-child ratio in our preschool classroom.

 

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Drop Off is 8:15 - 8:30 am and Pick Up is 3:30 - 3:45 pm)

Teacher: Mrs. Laura Eggerman is the lead teacher for the preschool class. She is a graduate of Concordia University, Chicago. Laura taught kindergarten for three years at Trinity Lutheran in Hoyleton, Illinois before coming to Immanuel in 2015. She enjoys sharing her love of music with her students and helping God's little ones grow in their faith.

Laura is married and expecting their first child in December.

Teachers: Mrs. Bethany Greatens is the lead teacher for the PreK class. Mrs. Greatens graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2006 with a degree in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education. Bethany has taught at Immanuel since August 2006. 

 

Bethany is married and has three children.
