Students: Children who are four years old on or before July 31, 2021 are eligible for enrollment in our PreK classroom. We maintain a maximum 1:10 adult-child ratio in our PreK classrooms.
Teacher: Mrs. Bethany Greatens is the lead teacher for the PreK class. She has a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and in Early Childhood Development and Education. In her own words,
"I love spending my days with the joy filled younger students at Immanuel. Each day is a new adventure waiting to be filled with new hands on experiences, learning through play, constructing things like igloos, arks, rocket ships, the beach, and so much more! I love providing students with experiences, projects, and lessons where they can be free to explore, get a little messy, and have fun, all while learning! And most importantly, I love being able to share the Word of God and the promises He gives us in all that we do throughout the day, and then watching the children bring home those messages and share with their families. I also love being able to teach music class to the lower elementary grades and seeing them be able to express themselves through music. I feel so unbelievably blessed to work at Immanuel with such amazing staff members who feel like family, are supportive, helpful, and encouraging.
Outside of school, I absolutely love spending time with my amazing family! We love going on hikes, being outside, exploring new places, playing games, reading books, dancing, listening to music, cooking together, watching football (Go Pack Go), and baseball (Go Brewers)! I love baking, but especially decorating cakes and cupcakes. I also love doing arts and crafts and fun projects-big or small."
