Immanuel Lutheran School

Our school is focused on embracing diversity and excellence.


Located on eight acres in Olivette Missouri on Olive Boulevard near Warson Road, our facilities include an early childhood building for preschool through grade 2, elementary and middle school building for grades 3-8, a library, learning lab, STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math) room, outdoor garden, gymnasium, playgrounds and softball & soccer fields.

  • Our current total number of students enrolled is 181. The student body is made up of a diverse group of children from various backgrounds and cultures. 44% of our student body is Caucasian, 40% African American, 12% Asian, 2% Hispanic and 2% Mixed race.

  • The average classroom size is 16 children per room. With smaller sized classrooms, our teachers are able to focus on the educational and personal growth of each child.

  • Our students come to us from a variety of neighborhoods in the greater St. Louis area, representing 15 public schools and 32 zip codes.

  • Our student body is made up of varying denominations. Approximately 50% of the students are members of the sponsoring congregation, Immanuel Lutheran Church, 11% from other area Lutheran churches, 24% are Christian, and 15% are unchurched.

  • Our staff works with children who have IEPs and children who need extra help on a personal level. Families have access to our Special Education consultant from the Lutheran Elementary Association for Special Education.


At Immanuel Lutheran School, our focus is to provide children with an education that prepares them for the future. Our students are always encouraged to embrace excellence.

Tuition and Fees 2020-2021:
Application Fee: $25/student (non-refundable, new students only)


Re-enrollment Fee: $25/student (current students only)


TUITION: K - Grade 8

Must be 5 yrs old by July 31 to attend kindergarten.

1st Child - $6,250/year                     

2nd Child same family - $5,310/year

Add'l Child same family - $4,370/year    


TUITION: Preschool and PreK

Must be 3 yrs old by July 31 to attend PS. 

Must be 4 yrs old by July 31 to attend PK.

*There is no 2nd child discount for preschool students.

M/W/F       $5,500/year                  

T/Th          $4,400/year



TUITION: Jr Preschool

Must be 2 yrs old December 31.

Must be 2 on first day of attending JPS.

*There is no reduction for JPS with older siblings.

Payment Plans


Immanuel offers families four options for paying tuition.

Depending on the option you choose, you may have an additional one-time set-up fee. 

Those options are as follows: 


ONE (1) PAYMENT: July 5 or 20 (no fee)

TWO (2) PAYMENTS: July 5 or 20 and December 5 or 20 ($10 fee)

NINE (9) PAYMENTS: August 5 or 20 through April 5 or 20 ($45 fee)


TEN (10) PAYMENTS: July 5 or 20 through April 5 or 20 ($45 fee)



Additional FEES 

  • Sports Fee - to be determined based on participation.

  • Band Fee (5th-8th) - to be determined


Extended Care Tuition: must sign up to get yearly rate.               

  • Before School Care (7:00 am - 8:15 am) 

       Yearly Rate - $1,050 (equals $6/day)

       If not signed up, DROP IN day rate - $10/day

  • After School Care (3:30 pm - 6:00 pm)   

       Yearly Rate - $1,575 (equals $9/day)

       If not signed up, DROP IN day rate - $15/day

       Late Pick Up After 6:00 pm - $1/minute

Immanuel's Accreditation:

Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association (MNSAA) accredits Missouri’s non-public schools. MNSAA supports schools in their ongoing improvement process to adopt best educational practices as these schools strive to become schools of choice. 

National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NLSA) encourages, assists, and recognizes schools that provide quality Christian education and engage in continuous improvement. The Evidence Based Accreditation (EBA) process allows for the fulfillment this mission effectively thereby providing a valuable service to Lutheran schools.  

Immanuel's most recent re-accreditation was in Spring of 2019.  The next re-accreditation review is scheduled for Spring of 2022.
