The Student Experience
and What Parents Should Know

Children who attend Immanuel Lutheran School receive a first-class education that nurtures a Christ-centered love of learning. We believe in providing a challenging and engaging educational experience. We integrate social skills, character education and emotional well-being into our curriculum and we believe that solid academics depend on the growth of the whole child.

Students at Immanuel Lutheran School are treated with respect and dignity in a Christ-centered atmosphere. The teachers, principal and staff work to build rapport with the students and their families. Learning or behavior difficulties are approached with an attitude of love, forgiveness and helpfulness. Our goals for students are as follows:

  • Grow in love and service to God and others

  • Understand and help preserve God's word

  • Communicate effectively through a variety of ways

  • Develop physical strength and an attitude of fitness for life

  • Work with others and appreciate their unique gifts

  • Appreciate and enjoy learning as a lifelong process

Students leave Immanuel Lutheran School as boys and girls who independently seek knowledge, have a broad range of interests and are open to and accepting of new ideas. They are courageous risk takers, eloquent communicators and dedicated contributors to their broader community.
