Mrs. Steingraber grew up moving several times as her dad was a Lutheran school teacher and church music director. Later, he felt called to be a pastor. Lori’s family has lived in several areas of Minnesota and Missouri (including St. Louis for two years). Lori attended college at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska where she majored in elementary education with a concentration in music.
She graduated in 2004 and received her first call to Immanuel Lutheran in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She met her husband, Steve, and they have two boys: David, age 14 and Timmy, age 10. While at Immanuel, Marshfield, she taught various grades from first through fourth grade, and first through eighth grade music classes throughout the week. Lori enjoys all kinds of worship music and during her 18 years at Immanuel, she was the handbell director, praise team leader, organist, and choir director/accompanist. Here at Immanuel Olivette, she plays piano and organ for some weekend services as well as directing one of our choirs. God is good!
